PARTS PAINTER JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Complete all paint preparations for the wheels/rims such as buffing, grinding, sanding, and preparing panels and finishing wheels for paint
- Utilize air sanders, spray guns, sanding blocks, etc. in order to complete quality work
- Prepare color tint to match paint color, mix paint colors and follow all paint manufacturing guidelines. We use Waterborne paint.
- Understand the use of mixing stations
- Use of CNC machine control panel(optional)
- Ensure that all paint operations are complete, all masking is removed and all prior paint-related disassembly has been reassembled prior to returning the wheel/rim to the end-user
- Wipe down, tape, mask wheels (if necessary)
- Mix paint and clean spray guns frequently
- Spray primer and apply light body filler
- Adhere to all requirements for hazardous waste disposal.
- Maintain all tools and equipment, including maintenance of paint booth and booth filters, and maintains a clean and organized workspace.
- Participate in ongoing technical and safety training
- Bring shortages of supplies to the attention of the Paint Supervisor for replenishment
- Conducts Final Paint Quality Inspection
QUALIFICATIONS
- ASE certification (Preferred)
- Paintless Dent Repair experience is a plus
OPERATION:
- MONDAY-FRIDAY (NO WEEKENDS)
- 8AM-5PM (ONE SHIFT)
- ONE LOCATION (ANAHEIM, CA)
